Dan & Sam – One country at a time!

People say we’re crazy but we are just having a ‘mid-life gap year’

We are making it happen, you could too. Join us here for the journey.

As Canadian 40 something professionals with a passion for seeing new places and meeting new people, the last number of years we have worked to travel; now we are working at the vagabond life.
The springboard: A leave of absence from work to focus on motorcycle travel in France, Spain and Portugal to start…..where we go next is up to the universe.
We decided to sell pretty much everything we owned for the no strings attached freedom of full time wanderlust. Oh so liberating!
Experiencing life like the locals wherever we go is the goal. Our Ural sidecar motorcycle, Sassy, helps with introductions by way of the phenomenon known as the Ural delay factor. We anticipate helping out where we can along the road and seeing humanity at its best. We look forward to sharing our good news stories.
Sam is the technical guru working behind the scenes keeping the site ticking along. I am the wordsmith and photographer for this enterprise. We are a two person show, learning as we go!
If you like what you see please pass it on to other folks who may be interested. Let us know your thoughts and subscribe to receive notifications for our new blogs, memoirs from past travel and useful tips along the way!
Take care and keep on travelling,
Dan&Sam
